Summer Day Camp

Not quite sure if you are ready for your child to experience overnight camp?  Looking for an alternative to traditional child care for the summer? Want an amazing experience for your 4-12 year old?  Day Camp is for you.

Our Day Camp consists of two tribes: Little Hawks consist of our 4-7 year olds. Thunderbirds are our 8-12 year olds. Each tribe's programming is designed specifically the age groups in each tribe. We may divide the tribe into smaller groups depending on the group sizes and ages of the campers each week.

Each of our Day Camp tribes will also have the opportunity to visit our camp store on a daily basis to purchase additional snacks or merchandise.  A healthy morning snack and lunch will be provided.

Ages: 4–12 Boys & Girls

Fees: $185/week

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Each camper who is dropped off at the camp will meet at Never Neverland, (Day Camp Barn) on the left as you come to the first stop sign on the driveway into camp. This is the new building that day camp will be based from. During check-in on Monday, parents will receive a schedule for the week. During all other check-ins, parents can expect to become aware of any changes to the schedule as well as interact with the staff. During check-out each day, parents or guardians must present their photo ID before the child is allowed to leave. This is for the safety of all campers. Again, check-out will happen at Never Neverland (Day Camp Barn).

Programs offered each week will depend on the campers tribe. Each camper will participate in a weekly mastery activity. This allows for the campers to practice and improve upon one skill each week. Sunday Family Orientation

This year we will be moving the Family Night Cook-Out to a Family Night Orientation/Meet and Greet. The campers will have a chance to meet their counselors while the families will have a chance to see camp and ask questions. At the Family Night, we will meet in Klinger, the Dining Hall, at 4 p.m. This is when the families will receive a finalized copy of the schedule for the week, campers can sign up for their mastery program, and the Day Camp Director will answer any questions. Campers can also receive their care package and view other items at the camp store.

Next, families will have the option to go on a tour of camp with the counselors or go to the day camp barn for a craft and s’mores. Don’t worry, the craft and s’mores will still be available after the tour.

Finally, the campers will receive a passport for the week before heading home with their families for a good night's rest before the first day of camp!

The Family Night will be each Sunday from 4 p.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m.

Schedule for Family Night
4 p.m.- Sign in table divided by Little Hawks and Thunderbirds.

Campers will receive a sticker with their group color and be directed towards their group. If the parents chose to purchase a care package, the families will be directed that way.

4:15 p.m. Introductions and question time for families and staff.

4:45 p.m. Tours will begin. Group leaders will give a tour for their group color. If there are siblings, families can choose the group they want to go to. Day Camp Director, Coordinator, and other staff will meet at the Day Camp Barn for craft and s’mores.

5:15 p.m. Tours should be ending and meeting back at the day camp barn.

5:30 p.m. Campers and families depart.

Friday Awards and Closing Campfire

Another new addition this year will be a weekly Day Camp Closing Campfire from 3pm to 4pm each Friday.  Parents are welcome to attend and celebrate the accomplishments made by our campers.  Please park in the main parking lot by Klinger Hall and meet us at the Day Camp Barn by 3pm.
